Monday’s Postcard: Somewhere Over Paris

I just got back to my French home earlier this week, and even though it’s never easy to leave Montreal, I’m quite happy to be back. So many exciting things are coming up in the next few months, including an amazing press trip in Catalonia, a PR trip to London and much more!

So in honor of the many travel plans of 2012, here’s a photo I took during my flight. Who doesn’t like sunrises on the plane?

Pretty early morning colors - I don't get to see these very often!

I noticed that the sun rises a bit later in France than it does in Montreal – this photo was taken at 08:00! It reminded me of the early November sunsets in the UK… see the difference for yourself in others countries with these cheap vacation packages!

    Saw your link from a comment you posted on A Dangerous Biz

    You probably knew this already, but Montreal is closer to the equator than say France or even the UK hence the delay in the sunrise although I’d rather see prettier sunrises than the sun come up past the horizon at all.

    Nice photo! I can’t wait to see the sunrise as I come in to land in Zurich in 30 days :) .

    I love this photo — I must have a thousand just like it. Even though I know I can’t do anything with it, I’m always compelled to capture those colors and the moment. Maybe some day I should publish a book on wingtips at sunrise and sunset.
