And what better way to celebrate the Holly Jolly spirit of Christmas than by visiting the world’s most famous festive markets? Once again, I’m partnering with Eurail.com, who offered me a rail pass through Germany, where I will hop from one market to the other. The itinerary?

I’m SO excited about this - I haven’t been in Germany in forever (that’s in travel bloggers standards. in reality, it has only been 3 years), and I’ve wanted to experience the Christmas markets my whole life, as my bucket list states. Another item to cross off this year!

Welcome to Germany! Looks like you’re hitting most of the major cities. Personally I really enjoy the Christmas markets in the smaller cities like Lübeck or Bremen (which I saw last year) just because they’ve got a more local vibe. I’ve heard Nuremberg and Dresden have some of the best, though, and I don’t see them on your itinerary!

    Safe travels!
