Paris, You’ve Grown on Me

Remember how I used to say that I didn’t like Paris? That London was so much better? Well, I have to be honest here – Paris has made quite an impression on me the last two times I went. And in a good way! Who would’ve thought?
It seems like all the things I didn’t like at first, like the rudeness, the dirt, the exorbitant price of museum tickets, were all erased in favor of…
… Classic sights in the sunset
… Amazing, romantic architecture
… Out-of-this-world hotels
… Yummy treats
For all these beautiful reasons, I think I might love with Paris. But don’t get me wrong here – I still love London more. But the prospect of being in Paris doesn’t sound so irritating anymore. Between you and me, I might even be looking forward to my next trip. But shhh.
Did you have a hard time adjusting to Paris or was it love at first sight? Are there other cities where you felt the same way, good or bad?

Some amazing photos! It’s always good when you can give a place a second chance. Someday I will give Bruxelles that chance…. =)

Sometimes a place takes a while to grow on a person. I felt that way about Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

I think each place feels different for everyone – some people love Paris at first sight, some don’t. Same goes for other places, too.

That would be such a great idea! And I bet there are many connections between Berlin and Paris, so you have no reason not to go

Glad to see a convert!
I am obsessed with Paris (actually I found museums to be quite cheap and I have yet to meet a truly rude Parisian!), but I will say that London is great too.
